How do you Frame your world?

How Do You Frame Your World

We frame it every day by what we say and we say, what we believe. The opportunity is before us every day. Choosing what we think on, what we believe and what we allow to shape our thoughts.

What’s Shaping Your Thoughts?

You either shape your thoughts are they are shaped through whatever you allow to determine your philosophy. Choosing wisely yields fruit.

God’s word is alive and has the potential to build or frame. To erect or tear down. To plant or pluck. We determine what it will be not God. He has placed this responsibility in our hands.

Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Everything God did was a direct result of what He was speaking and confessing through his mouth. The things that are seen were not made with visible things but invisible things. Words. Words became. (Reference Genesis Chapter 1) Words became things and things became a life source.

Likewise, words have the same effect in our lives. Words heal or words can hurt. They impart life or they deduct life. They build or destroy.

Imagine if all your words grew skin, came  alive and surrounded you. Would you want the things you say to yourself or about your life and future?

Job 22:28
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.

The word declare comes from the Hebrew achvah, meaning “to make known” or “to set forth an accounting.”

It is commonly used by customs agents who ask international travelers, “Do you have anything to declare?” The agents are asking for specifics of what you have, what you are carrying.*

1John 5:14-15
Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us then we know we have the petitions we have asked of him.

Sometimes, when our kids were young they would ask us for things that they didn’t understand or weren’t ready to tackle. It wasn’t a “no” but you’re not ready for that. As they grew in their understanding, maturity and knowledge they became ready.

They were prepared to ask.

And they asked boldly. No hesitancy. They had acquired some knowledge to prepare them for what they were asking.

We guided them but they did it. We didn’t do it for them. We taught them to operate with responsibility and authority.

This is the child-like quality God is wanting to develop within all of us. Asking Boldly. Without hesitance with the assurance that we are heard. That we have Gods word, which is his will and final authority, spoken in prayer.

When we know we are heard.

When we know we are heard. We are confident something happened. Something was established. Our minds are renewed and our faith is released as we believe God. Words spoken bring life and establish us.

I’m not saying to get goofy, or get a blab it and grab it mindset. It’s about a relationship and learning to agree with God, his word and his principles. It is a different life because it’s Gods way resulting in a God kind of life.

Defining What’s Real

Natural is not natural; it is fallen and God says I’ve deposited something supernatural in you. Will you believe ME instead of the natural? Instead of what the philosophy of the world says?

When we learn to do it Gods way, we learn to be grounded and rooted in the Word. Building our lives through the word of God. Bringing forth something from nothing. That is the power of framing your world through God’s word.

What words have been framing your world lately?
