He is right there with you

This morning I am thinking about the tenderness of God’s heart towards women. Jesus was and is the greatest women’s liberator of all time. He loves us with a love that is unfathomable. We no longer have to think He loves me, He loves me not. It has been settled that He loves me, He loves me, He loves me. This is what we all yearn for and yet this is the very thing God wants to communicate to us.

I cannot explain to you the comfort that comes from knowing I have his attention and He pursues me continually. We are like fish out of water…

…like fish out of water without the revelation of this love, we seek and search everywhere to find it all the while God is pouring it out on us abundantly. You know, this is all He really wants? To love us and for us to receive it and trust him.

God’s Love Letter To YOU

Let’s look at the greatest love letter ever written, his word. Unfold it, bask in it, be refreshed in it. Let the words of his heart permeate every broken place, every room that you have hidden from him in. Yes, we try and hide from God in the very place God dwells.. our hearts. Let this word seep through the cracks of that door. Remember, He just wants you, the object of his affection. You have a mustard seed amount of faith to hold up in your hand. This offering moves the heart of God towards you.

Psalm 45:10-11
Listen, O Daughter, consider and incline your ear; Forget your own people also, and your father’s house; So the King will greatly desire your beauty; Because He is your Lord worship him.

The Lord calls out for your attention, for you to hear what He is saying to you. He wants you to forget about being preoccupied with all your stuff, the natural relationships that try to keep you distracted. The relationships that your continually trying to extract love out of… they can never satisfy or fulfill your heart like you are hoping.

The King, Our Lord has his eyes on you, there is a beauty that He sees in you. His desire is for you to come to him, to lay it all down and worship him with an undivided heart, a heart that is surrendered to his love. A heart that is fixed upon him, undistracted because He has captured your attention in the midst of other things. In the midst of other relationships.

Psalm 46:5
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

After the dust settles, within every circumstance and trial she has endured , she rises! Why you ask?  Because HE is in the midst of her, in the midst of the doctor report, in the midst of heartache and rejection, in the midst of loss and despair, in the midst of loneliness and battling depression.  HE is there! She shall not be moved. She is firmly fixed and established. Un-moveable because He is with her!

God himself will help her and deliver her. Her convictions have made her feet like steel. She is planted upon a solid foundation, not on sand, brick or straw. God will bring breakthrough to her just like the breaking of the dawn. He is not too late, not too early but right on time.  Suddenly, God will be there!

Psalm 48:3
God is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge.

God is in her palaces?  Everywhere she goes is a palace because her King goes with her and kings live in palaces.

You Are A Habitation of God Himself

You know God sees you as a palace, his divinity was buried in dirt. The dust of the earth. We are that dirt. God chose to take up residence in you and He claimed it as a palace.. a place where the King dwells. And you… you are that Queen, you may not feel like a queen but He says you are crowned. He has crowned you with his love and acceptance.

God is your refuge, this is what you are known for. Others talk about you because they know He is with you, some talk about you with words of endearment but others, well, they talk about you with rejection. They aren’t rejecting you but the one who holds you. You run into the arms of the one who can shield you from everything. His love is your refuge. Run into the loving arms of your Father, they aren’t reluctant arms crossed, no, they are arms stretched wide open anticipating your arrival to rest against his chest. His voice reminding you that you are always safe in him.

Zephaniah 3:17
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

When God sees you He just celebrates you.  Don’t we all like to go where we are celebrated and not just tolerated?

God Celebrates YOU

He celebrates who you are and who you are becoming, He sees the end from the beginning. He starts with the end in mind, because from the beginning of time before the world was , He called you. He chose you to know him, to be in His love. (Ephesians 1:4) His gladness is expressed in His rejoicing over you, and you are the very expression of his love.

He will quiet you with his love. When things seem impossible, his love quiets you. When circumstances attempt to overwhelm you, his love quiets you. When you feel confused and misunderstood, his love quiets you. When you feel abandoned and all alone, his love quiets you. When you feel out of control, his love quiets you. When you don’t know what to do or where to turn, once again, his love quiets you.

He sings over you because a melody seems fitting. Words alone cannot express this love but a song can. You are inscribed upon his heart. You are always with him, he sings over you like a mother sings to her baby. His song soothes you and washes away your hurt, your shortcomings.

Your inhibitions have now become his inhabitation.  He is ridiculously pursuing you with his song of love and celebration.  What is He celebrating?  You. Simply you.  Everyone wants something from you, but The Lord wants you.. not just some thing, but a beautiful Be-ing.  So Just “BE.”  He wants a human being not a human doing.   Rest in him as he rejoices over you.

You are so very loved.
